Jobless numbers today came in much lower than expected at a 9 month low of 381K down 23K from last week. The 4 week moving average is 393,250 down from 396,250. The number of people continuing to receive benefits dropped by 174K to 3.58M which is the lowest level since 2008.
Overall, the jobs market seems to be improving slowly. If this continues hopefully we can see housing stabilize and let a true recovery take place.
